Shakuzawa point is located in the transverse stripe of the elbow, in the depression on the radial side of the biceps tendon, and is mainly used for the treatment of lung diseases, acute vomiting and diarrhea, elbow and arm contractures, urinary incontinence, and pediatric convulsions (pediatric diseases with dizziness, apoplexy, and convulsions as the main manifestations). When self-massaging the Shakuzawa point, you can place your index finger on your middle finger and use the middle finger’s fingertips to press and knead the Shakuzawa point. This point is located on the inner side of the calf, two inches straight up from the depression between the tip of the inner ankle and the Achilles tendon, in front of the Achilles tendon. It is mainly used for the treatment of edema, abdominal distension, diarrhea, bowel sounds, night sweating (abnormal sweating after going to sleep, and sweating stops after waking up), and self-sweating (involuntary sweating during the daytime, and sweating aggravated by slight movement). When self-massaging the Fuyao acupoint, it is usually gently rubbed with the fingertips of the index finger or thumb.
