How long is the average survival period for advanced lung cancer with brain metastasis?

The survival time of advanced brain metastases from lung cancer is related to the size and number of metastases as well as individual conditions and treatment methods, and cannot be generalized. Patients with lung cancer brain metastases are common comorbidities of lung cancer patients. If single metastases appear in the skull after radical lung cancer surgery, local surgery or radiotherapy can be adopted and the patient can survive for more than 5 years. If the metastases are more numerous and extensive and combined with metastases from other organs, local radiotherapy combined with systemic chemotherapy can also extend the patient’s survival to a certain extent. Patients with metastasis in late stage of lung cancer should maintain an optimistic attitude and actively take treatment measures, and should not let the disease develop. Pay attention to rest and take more protein-rich food.
