What are the results after strabismus surgery?

How long do I need to stay in the hospital for strabismus surgery? Strabismus can actually be done as an outpatient surgery, but because the surgery is done under general anesthesia, the child has to be observed for 4-6 hours after the general anesthesia and the eye has to be changed the next day, so for the sake of convenience, we usually hospitalize for one day in our hospital. What are the results after strabismus surgery? Strabismus surgery is very mature among all eye surgeries and has been performed for 200 years, and the results are very obvious. Generally speaking, the results after inner eye surgery are only known to the patient and may not be very visible to others. However, after strabismus surgery, the results are obvious and can be seen by others, and the eye position of the child is clearly straightened. In addition, the surgery not only improves the appearance and plays a cosmetic role, but more importantly, it creates the opportunity for the child to see monocularly in both eyes and facilitates the establishment of stereopsis.
