Does mild pulmonary stenosis get worse?

Mild pulmonary stenosis, if left untreated and unattended, can become more severe and affect the heart and other functions later in life.
Pulmonary stenosis can be caused by congenital developmental factors or secondary heart disease. In most cases, mild pulmonary stenosis does not cause any discomfort, but symptoms such as palpitations, dyspnea, and loss of physical strength may occur after an increase in exercise load.
If not treated promptly, pulmonary stenosis can progress from mild to moderate or severe pulmonary stenosis.
When mild pulmonary stenosis develops further, during which time poor treatment may make subsequent treatment difficult due to the progression of the disease, ultimately affecting functions such as the heart and peripheral blood vessels.
