Terbutaline Sulfate Nebulized Solution for Inhalation is a beta 2 agonist and is used to relieve symptoms such as tightness in the chest, shortness of breath, and shortness of breath associated with bronchial asthma, chronic bronchitis, emphysema, and other lung diseases. Note: Always follow your doctor’s instructions when using the drug. Adverse reactions are headache, hand tremor, palpitations and gastrointestinal disturbances in a few patients. Note that it is contraindicated in people who are allergic to terbutaline sulfate or any of the ingredients in the prescription. This product must be administered via a nebulizer. It should be used with caution in patients with severe cardiovascular disease (e.g., ischemic heart disease, tachyarrhythmias, or severe heart failure), uncontrolled thyrotoxicosis, untreated hypokalemia, and susceptibility to narrow-angle glaucoma. Inhaled terbutaline normally takes effect within a few minutes, and the effects last for about 6 hours.
