Gastroenterology is a department that provides surgical treatment for diseases of the digestive system, including diseases of the biliary system, such as gallbladder stones and cholecystitis, and surgical removal of gallbladder and stones. For malignant tumors of the liver, surgical resection of the liver tumor and lymph node dissection of the hepatic hilum is possible. For common bile duct stones with cholangitis, surgical exploration of the common bile duct, stone removal and T-tube drainage are possible. For gastrointestinal system diseases such as malignant tumor of stomach, radical resection of gastric cancer plus lymph node dissection can be performed laparoscopically. For malignant tumor of sigmoid colon, laparoscopic resection of sigmoid colon tumor, proximal and distal intestinal canal anastomosis, and subsystemic arteriovenous lymph node dissection can be performed. For acute suppurative appendicitis, the appendix can be surgically removed and the abdominal cavity cleaned.
