What are the causes of scabies?

  The cause of scabies is clear, and the insect disease caused by the bite of scabies has a certain degree of contagiousness.  Scabies is afraid of light and has a strong resistance ability to the outside world, and is highly contagious and often develops one after another in the whole family. The common source of infection is the patient and the patient contacted clothing, bedding, etc.. For example, the group dormitory, sleeping in the same bed, living in a hostel, etc., and even sharing clothes and quilts, shaking hands, etc. may occur infection.  There are two types of scabies, human type and animal type, of which the human type is mainly caused by the human type boil mite, and there is generally no cross-infection between pets. Scabies invades the human body and inhabits the thin and tender skin. The scabies mite comes out at night and is active, so typical scabies manifests itself as no sensation during the day and itching at night. Finger crevices, belly, elbow sockets, and external genitalia can be involved, and the rash behaves similarly to eczema. In addition to typical history and symptoms, skin lesions looking for scabies is also one of the methods to confirm the diagnosis. The treatment of scabies is based on the application of medicine, preferred 10% sulfur ointment, applied all over the body (below the neck, including the crease crevices), and the ointment stays for 3 days, then bathing and replacing all intimate clothing. Bedding, bedding, bath tubs, etc. need to be boiled and exposed to the sun, and clothing needs to be disinfected to avoid reinfection.  The rash of scabies is very similar to eczema, and it is easy to miss the diagnosis, and it is important to be especially alert to the disease in patients who only itch at night.
