There is no research on the harmful effects of taking lemongrass. Xianmao has the effect of tonifying kidney and yang, strengthening muscles and bones, and dispelling cold and dampness. It is often used in impotence and coldness, impotence and weakness of muscles and bones, cold pain in waist and knees, and cold diarrhea in yang deficiency.

In addition, lemongrass can replenish the fire of the life gate to warm the spleen yang, stop cold diarrhea, often with bone marrow, dry ginger, ginseng, atractylodes, etc., used for spleen and kidney yang deficiency of the epigastric (stomach and abdomen) cold, diarrhea and so on. It is also used to treat canker sores and poisonous snake bites.
