Preferred drug for pulmonary hemoptysis

If a patient develops a large cough of blood, posterior pituitary hormone is preferred for treatment, but when using posterior pituitary hormone, note that hypertension and coronary heart disease in the elderly should be prohibited to avoid further increase in blood pressure and cardiovascular accidents. In addition to posterior pituitary hormone, related hemostatic drugs such as white brow snake venom hemagglutinin, Yunnan Baiyao, and aminoglycolic acid can also be used to stop bleeding. If the patient has heart disease or hypertension, vasodilators such as uradil hydrochloride or phentolamine can also be taken to lower the blood pressure and vasodilate the blood vessels to stop the hemorrhage. In recent years, patients with hemoptysis can also be treated with interventional methods to block the bleeding bronchial artery, which is more effective. Surgical treatment can be considered for patients with lesions limited to one or two lobes, recurrent secondary infections not controlled by drugs, or recurrent hemoptysis.
