Urinalysis report of kidney disease patients need to pay attention to the indicators of red blood cells, white blood cells and protein in urine. Abnormalities in different indicators can predict different diseases. If red blood cells and protein are abnormal, nephritis may exist; if white blood cells are abnormal, urinary tract infection and interstitial nephritis may be diagnosed.
1. Red blood cells: If there are more than 3 red blood cells in the centrifuged urine per high magnification field of view, it is called hematuria, and hematuria includes hematuria and microscopic hematuria, which may be caused by nephritis, tumors, urinary tract infections, and tuberculosis of the urinary tract.
2. Leukocytes: If the white blood cell count in urine exceeds the normal range, it suggests that the urinary system may have inflammation or combined with interstitial nephritis.
3. Protein: normal human urine is generally protein-free, if the urine test urine protein is positive or 24-hour urine protein more than 150mg is called proteinuria, can cause proteinuria diseases such as nephritis, nephrotic syndrome, urinary tract infections, diabetic nephropathy and so on.
Urine test reports need to pay attention to more indicators, such as indicators of abnormality, need to be timely to the regular hospital, follow the doctor’s instructions to improve the relevant examination, and receive standardized treatment.
