Nodular thickening of the left adrenal gland means that the volume of the left adrenal gland is found to be slightly larger than the normal side during adrenal CT examination, but no adrenal nodule or adrenal tumor is found, which needs to be further combined with the adrenal hormone series biochemistry examination and the patient’s symptom to decide whether the treatment is needed or not. Sometimes adrenal hyperplasia does not show elevated hormone levels and the patient does not have any symptoms, then there is no need for treatment, only need to dynamically review the adrenal gland CT. If the adrenal hyperplasia gradually increases in size or forms adenomatous adrenal changes, and the patient shows symptoms of elevated adrenal hormone levels, such as increased blood pressure, palpitations, obesity, hormone secretion disorders, etc., then treatment is needed. However, if the prolonged follow-up shows only mild hyperplasia, normal adrenal biochemical hormone levels and no symptoms, no treatment is needed and regular clinical follow-up is sufficient.
