What causes frequent urination

Frequent urination may be a symptom due to pathological causes, or it may be a symptom due to physiological causes. 1. Physiological reasons: when the patient drinks too much water, the symptoms of frequent urination will also occur, which is a normal physiological phenomenon, generally do not need special treatment. 2. Pathologic factors: may be due to urinary tract infections, prostatitis, prostate hyperplasia, overactive bladder disease and other diseases. If the patient’s prostate is stimulated by inflammation, it may lead to edema of the prostate, causing frequent urination. If the patient is suffering from prostate hyperplasia and other causes, it leads to abnormalities in the function of the forced urinary muscle to store urine, thus causing frequent urination. Symptoms may also be caused by overactive bladder syndrome, which is mainly a condition caused by the instability of the bladder muscle. Patients with frequent urination are advised to seek timely medical attention and standardized treatment under the guidance of professional doctors.
