When bleeding from intercourse occurs before menstruation, the following diseases are often excluded: 1. local inflammation of the cervix, such as cervical polyps or chronic inflammation of the cervix; 2. local lesions of the cervix, precancerous lesions of the cervix or early cervical cancer; 3. inflammation of the vaginal mucosa and polyps; 4. submucosal fibroids of the uterus, which are tipped and protrude from the cervical opening and can also cause bleeding after intercourse when stimulated by external forces; 5. 5. Tumor of pelvic cavity or ovary may also cause bleeding after intercourse, therefore, ultrasound examination, gynecological examination and cervical cancer screening are clinically recommended in this case.
