To determine whether a lymph node is benign or malignant, in addition to observing the speed of enlargement of the lymph node, you also need to pay attention to the specific shape of the enlarged lymph node. If the lymph nodes have a smooth surface, good mobility and regular shape, most of them are benign; however, if the lymph nodes are enlarged quite rapidly, with an irregular shape, hard texture and not very good mobility, they may also be malignant. To determine whether an enlarged lymph node is benign or malignant, ultrasound examination, especially puncture pathology examination, can be performed to clarify the diagnosis, and then corresponding treatment can be carried out.
