Rehabilitation of Knee Weakness

The exercise for knee weakness is mainly to enhance local muscle strength, including local muscle function exercise and aerobic exercise.
1. Local muscle function exercise: the patient sits on the side of the bed with proper weight bearing on the feet, and lifts the calf and foot upward with force, which can exercise the muscle strength of quadriceps. The same ankle proper weight bearing, the patient prone position resistance flexion calf, can exercise popliteus muscle strength. These exercise methods can alleviate the muscle weakness of the lower limbs, which is very important for the functional recovery of the knee joint.
2. Aerobic exercise: Swimming, walking, jogging, squatting and other exercises can increase cardiorespiratory fitness and enhance local muscle strength to improve the symptoms of knee weakness.
Patients are advised to consume more calcium and protein-rich foods to help relieve the symptoms. Patients should exercise under the guidance of a doctor to avoid injuries caused by improper self-exercise.
