The normal epididymis feels smooth to the touch and there are no hard knots or lumps. The normal epididymis is located on the left and right and is divided into three parts: head, body and tail. It can be touched at the base of the testicle. The epididymis is on the posterior medial side of the scrotum and is in contact with the posterior medial surface of the testicle. The striped epididymis can be clearly touched through the skin of the scrotum, and its slightly raised upper part is the head of the epididymis, while the middle part is the body of the epididymis and the lower part is the tail of the epididymis. The normal epididymis is smooth to the touch, a soft strip of tissue, and is soft enough not to feel pain or localized swelling, thickening of the size, or the presence of hard knots or masses. Therefore, when the epididymis shows symptoms such as pressure and pain, obvious nodules, etc., it means that there are other problems with the epididymis, and you should go to the hospital as soon as possible to confirm the diagnosis, and treatment after diagnosis.
