Laparoscopic surgery for uterine fibroids

  1.Uterine fibroid removal: This procedure is to remove the fibroid nodules from the uterus and preserve the body of the uterus.  2.Subtotal hysterectomy: This procedure is to remove the body of the uterus while preserving the cervix.  3.Laparoscopic total hysterectomy: It is a laparoscopic removal of all the ligaments, blood vessels, vaginal wall and other tissues attached to the uterus, removal of the uterus from the vagina, and then laparoscopic suturing of the severed end of the vagina.  4.Laparoscopic-assisted cathodic hysterectomy: the ligaments and blood vessels around the body of the uterus are severed laparoscopically, while the ligaments and blood vessels in the cervical area are severed by cathodic surgery and the vaginal severed ends are sutured by cathodic surgery.
