The adnexa and ovaries are not the same thing. This is because the adnexa will consist of the fallopian tubes and ovaries, while the ovaries are only a single part. If there is an abnormality in the adnexa, there is no way to diagnose it as a tubal or ovarian abnormality due to the imaging nature of the ultrasound, which may indicate a mass in the adnexal region. It may be a fluid in the fallopian tube or an ovarian cyst. It is recommended to check again three days after the menstruation. If there is still a mass, it is recommended that a laparoscopic exploration surgery be performed over four centimeters to help eliminate the cysts or masses in the adnexal area so as not to cause inflammation for a long time and also to affect the health of the body.
