People who are not suitable for the new crown vaccination

Contraindications to vaccination are clearly defined in the instructions for the 3 types of vaccines currently in use, and the Technical Guidelines for Vaccination of New Crown Vaccine (1st edition) issued by the National Health Commission clearly state that the following 5 groups of people should not receive the New Crown vaccine: 1. Those who are allergic to the active ingredients of the vaccine, any of the inactive ingredients, substances used in the production process, or those who have developed allergies during previous vaccinations of the same type; 2. Those who have had serious allergic reactions to the vaccine in the past Allergic reactions (e.g. acute allergic reaction, angioneurotic edema, respiratory distress, etc.); 3. People with uncontrolled epilepsy and other severe neurological diseases (e.g. transverse myelitis, Guillain-Barre syndrome, demyelinating diseases, etc.); 4. People who are febrile, or suffering from acute diseases, or acute exacerbation of chronic diseases, or patients with uncontrolled severe chronic diseases; 5. Women during pregnancy. Tips: Some contraindications, such as being febrile, are usually temporary and the vaccination can be administered later when the condition that caused the contraindication no longer exists. In case of pregnancy after vaccination or in case of unknown pregnancy, special medical measures (e.g., termination of pregnancy) are not recommended solely because of neocoronavirus vaccination based on the understanding of the safety of the vaccine as described above, and good pregnancy checkups and follow-up are recommended. For women who are planning to become pregnant, there is no need to delay their pregnancy plans only because of the neo-coronavirus vaccination. It is also important to note that until vaccination of our population reaches a high level of immunity, even vaccinated people will continue to need to wear masks, practice good personal hygiene practices, and follow specific local requirements for prevention and control measures when indoors or in enclosed places where people gather.
