Taste the herbal medicine of Shou Gong

Shou Gong, alias Tian Long, Gecko, Pei Guan Zi. Taste: salty, cold, with a small poison. Effects: Relieving swelling, dispersing knots and pain, dispelling wind and settling fright. Recommended dose in Chinese herbal medicine: 1-1.5 grams in powder, 2-5 grams in decoction. For toxic herbs, I generally consult the experience of my predecessors and other doctors in using them, then take them personally, and then use them cautiously on patients, which is a kind of responsibility for patients and themselves. The Chinese medicine, although a small poison, but there are already doctors, such as the China-Japan Friendship Hospital Professor Jinjin Chang used to more than 30 grams, after careful consideration I started from 10 grams of decoction self-treatment, each time stacked 10 grams, until 50 grams, and no significant discomfort, just a slightly salty taste, of course, there is a very nauseous feeling! So, currently in the clinic, I use Shou Gong, generally in about 30 grams, occasionally patients with up to 50 grams, generally with 20-30 grams of fresh ginger and roasted licorice 20-30 grams used at the same time.
