Minimally invasive colonoscopic procedures commonly include argon ion coagulation, mucosal resection, and mucosal stripping. It is to treat the diseased area by means of enteroscopy. Usually the trauma is small and the condition is easy to recover. 1. Argon Ion Coagulation: also called APC, is a hemostatic method under enteroscopy, with the help of the electrical conduction of argon ion beam to deliver high-frequency electrical energy to the target tissues, which can effectively stop large-scale bleeding in a short time. It can be used to treat tiny or flat growths of digestive tract, early cancer, etc. 2. Mucosal resection: also known as EMR, refers to the complete removal of the diseased mucosa under enteroscopy. It is suitable for flat polyps, precancerous lesions, early stage cancer and some tumors originated from submucosa and muscular layer of mucosa in digestive tract. 3. Mucosal dissection: also called ESD, is a minimally invasive technique to completely remove the diseased mucosa from the submucosa under colonoscopy. It is suitable for the diagnosis and treatment of early colon cancer and mesenchymal tumor. Different minimally invasive colonoscopic surgical operation methods are different. Patients who are usually treated with colonoscopic surgery are less traumatized and have better recovery after surgery.
