HPV51 high-risk positive is caused by HPV high-risk type 51 infection. It is now clear that the cause of cervical cancer is caused by long-term persistent infection with high-risk HPV, which refers to the same type of high-risk HPV infection for more than 10 years and can lead to cervical cancer. If you have a high-risk HPV infection and are younger than 35 years old, you may consider cervical anti-HPV treatment if you do not undergo colposcopy. Depending on the drug, it is generally recommended to be on the drug for about 6 months and the duration of each drug is different. 1-2 courses of treatment are recommended and HPV typing tests are performed 1-2 months after stopping the drug. If you are older than 35 years old, colposcopic biopsy is recommended and further treatment will be decided based on the pathology results.
