Stubborn “stomach pain” is a warning for pancreatic cancer

Location and functions of the pancreas The pancreas is located directly behind the stomach and directly in front of the lumbar spine, only two to three centimeters wide, yet it is closely adjacent to the liver, gallbladder, stomach and intestines. However, the pancreas plays a pivotal and irreplaceable role in the operation of the human digestive system. This is because the pancreas secretes digestive juices that contain the digestive enzymes necessary for the body to digest food, especially in the digestion of fats. It also has endocrine functions, secreting insulin, glucagon and growth hormone, and is responsible for the regulation of body functions throughout the body. The early symptoms of pancreatic cancer may be “stomach pain”. Patients with pancreatic head cancer or chronic pancreatitis often have vague pain in the heart fossa, nausea and vomiting. The first symptom of pancreatic cancer is abdominal pain or upper abdominal fullness and discomfort. However, patients often go to internal medicine or other departments for treatment first. Therefore, most of the patients come to surgery in the middle and late stages of the disease. In the past 20 years, the standard of living of our residents has been greatly improved, but we do not know that high-fat and high-protein food is a sharp knife for pancreatic cancer. If you eat too much, the pancreatic cells will be busy. Once the pancreatic cells make a mistake in the process of reproduction, the alien cells produced are cancer cells. The long-term stimulation of the pancreas by long-term high-fat and high-protein food makes the body’s immune system unable to identify and destroy these cancer cells, and the cancer cell team continues to grow and develop to form tumors.
