Most nodules on the pleura are benign. Generally speaking, nodules on the pleura are mostly solid with smooth surrounding, which are usually benign pleural nodules. If the nodules on the pleura are ground glass-like with blood vessels passing through the middle, they should be considered as malignant nodules and early stage lung adenocarcinoma, which should be given high attention. In general, if a nodule with glassy nodules and blood vessels in the middle is smooth, it should be observed for three months, and the chest CT should be reviewed again, and if necessary, enhanced chest CT should be performed. If the density of the glassy nodule becomes denser and larger, it should be considered as adenocarcinoma and surgery is recommended.
