Whether or not 4.6 vision can be restored depends on the cause of the vision loss affecting the vision to determine if it can be restored. If the vision loss is caused by refractive factors, most of them can be recovered. For example, if the vision loss is caused by low myopia, high hyperopia or astigmatism to 4.6, the majority of these cases can be recovered with glasses. If refractive problems cannot be corrected, there may be some organic problems, such as cataracts and fundus lesions. Cataracts can be restored with surgery if the fundus is in good condition. However, for some fundus lesions, such as macular neovascularization or macular hemorrhage, it is difficult to restore the vision to the normal 5.0 level even after surgery.
