The exact location of the Chongyang point

The exact location of the Chongyang point is at the base of the 2nd metatarsal bone and the middle cuneiform bone joint, where the dorsal foot artery pulses. Chongyang point is the original point of the Foot Yangming Stomach meridian, which is an important source of qi and blood for the stomach meridian. The local anatomical distribution is on the lateral side of the long extensor tendon of the toes; there are the dorsal artery, vein and dorsal venous network of the foot, covered with the dorsal medial cutaneous nerve of the foot from the superficial peroneal nerve, and the deeper one is the deep peroneal nerve; clinically, it is often paired with other acupuncture points, such as the foot Sanli, Ranggu, Taixi, etc., for the treatment of gastric pain, crooked eye and mouth, seizure, and impotence of the foot. Chongyang point can be operated by moxibustion, or by avoiding arterial needling. If there is any discomfort, please go to the regular hospital in time to consult a Chinese medicine practitioner or acupuncturist to operate the treatment, so as not to delay the condition of the best treatment period.
