How much is a cervical smear?

Cervical smear is a type of cervical cancer screening which is relatively low cost, about$60, and can be used for cervical cancer screening as well as primary screening for the majority of women. Women who are sexually active are advised to have a cervical smear once a year. Cervical smear is a relatively primary screening test and is affected by a number of factors such as blood, mucus and inflammation during the test. If there is any abnormality in the cervical smear, colposcopy or multi-point biopsy will be performed to determine whether there is precancerous lesion or cervical cancer in the cervix according to the pathology results. Different women can choose cervical smear and TCT for cervical pre-cancer screening according to their different economic conditions.
