Can IUI be done for blocked fallopian tubes?

Blocked fallopian tubes cannot be artificially inseminated. The reason is that artificial insemination involves taking the male partner’s semen out of the body and using certain methods to preferentially select the sperm outside the body and then inject the selected sperm into the female partner’s uterus. The sperm has to enter the woman’s fallopian tube on its own, where it meets and fertilizes an egg that enters the tube from the other end. The fertilized egg is then transported to the uterus. The fertilized egg has to be transported through the fallopian tube to the uterus in order to take root, germinate, and implant in the uterus for the purpose of conception. If the fallopian tubes are not working, the sperm and egg cannot meet, they cannot combine, and no fertilized egg can be formed, and pregnancy is impossible.
