Difference between bone distortion and fracture

Fracture and bone distortion both have different mechanisms of injury. Fracture is caused by an external impact on the bone, which interrupts or splits the bone, causing a disruption of bone continuity, with the possibility of non-displacement, and the possibility of lateral, angular dislocation, and so on. Whereas bone twisting is less violent and is simply a partial break in the trabecular portion of the bone, while the bone cortex is continuous. So there is a big difference between the two conditions, and one of the biggest differences is that some of the fractured ends may be misaligned in patients with fractures. For treatment, there is also a big difference between the two, for simple bone distortion for conservative treatment, such as timely massage and massage correction, to prevent secondary damage to the bone, pay attention to more rest and protection of the injured area. For patients with bone fracture, according to whether the fracture is dislocated or not, choose the appropriate treatment program, if the fracture is dislocated need to consider surgical treatment, if not dislocated patients need to be braked, playing plaster and other methods to avoid bone movement, pay attention to rest, avoid stress and so on.
