Does a broken follicle mean ovulation?

Normally, the rupture of the follicle represents ovulation, which usually occurs around the fourteenth day before the next menstrual period.
A normal menstrual cycle lasts from 21 to 35 days, with an average of 28 days. For example, the follicle develops rapidly during the first week or so after menstruation, and ovulation occurs when the follicle matures and ruptures and expels the egg on about the 14th day of menstruation.
Due to the differences in the menstrual cycles of the population, ultrasound monitoring is recommended for effective ovulation monitoring, which can more accurately determine when an individual is ovulating.
Therefore, under normal physiological conditions, follicle rupture can effectively indicate ovulation activity, and 1~2 days before ovulation is the best time for conception.
However, if the follicle ruptures due to non-physiologic conditions, such as surgical manipulation, it has less relevance to ovulatory activity.
