To determine whether a young child is circumcised can be judged by its clinical manifestations, if the head of the penis can not be exposed in the natural state or only partially exposed, that is, the circumcision is too long.
If the head of the penis can not be exposed or only partially exposed in the natural state, it is considered as phimosis. Children with phimosis mainly show that the head of the penis is completely covered by the foreskin, if the opening of the foreskin is relatively loose, and the foreskin can be turned up by hand to reveal the head of the penis, then it is considered as phimosis; if the opening of the foreskin is narrowed, and it can’t be turned up to cover the head of the penis completely, or it is adhered to the head of the penis, then it is considered as phimosis. If it has not been properly treated, it may cause diseases such as priapism and phimosis.
Children who are circumcised should keep their foreskin clean, and can turn it over daily for cleaning. If the circumcision is more serious, or if it often causes glans phimosis, surgical treatment can be considered. For young children with phimosis, they should go to the hospital in time.
