Skin by mosquito bites belong to insect bite dermatitis, its treatment methods include general treatment, topical drugs, oral medication and so on.
1. General treatment: after being bitten by mosquitoes, we should use soapy water to wash the biting parts in time, which can effectively reduce the itching and pain symptoms; if the local redness, swelling and pain are more obvious, you can take ice, cold towels and other cold compresses in the local area to relieve the pain, but pay attention to the cold compresses should not be too long.
2. Topical medications: You can use topical antipruritic agents to relieve itching, such as glycerite lotion, zinc oxide lotion, etc.; topical glucocorticosteroids can control inflammation, such as hydrocortisone cream, dexamethasone ointment and so on.
3. Oral medication: if the rash is serious, oral antihistamine treatment can be taken, such as benadryl, ebastine, etc.; if the condition is serious, edema is obvious, oral glucocorticosteroid treatment can be taken, such as dexamethasone, prednisone, etc.; secondary infections, the use of antibacterial drugs, such as roxithromycin, doxycycline and so on.
