People with endometriosis can get pregnant, but it depends on the individual’s own situation. Endometriosis is a disease in which the active endometrial tissue appears outside the uterus, and it can cause pelvic adhesions, tubal lesions, and other conditions that lead to infertility. About 50% of the endometriosis patient population also suffers from infertility, and nearly 30% of the infertility patients are also endometriosis, so endometriosis can affect pregnancy. However, it doesn’t mean that you can’t get pregnant if you have endometriosis, it depends on the degree and extent of the disease. Those with more severe symptoms may not be able to get pregnant easily, and if necessary, assisted reproductive technology can be used to allow the patient to get pregnant. However, some people in the early stages of the disease with mild symptoms may still be able to get pregnant, and pregnancy is often encouraged as a treatment for endometriosis. If endometriosis is detected, it is recommended that the patient be actively treated under the supervision of a physician.
