How long can you live with invasive bladder cancer?

The survival time of patients with invasive bladder cancer varies according to the specific conditions of patients, such as whether the tumor penetrates the bladder wall, whether there is local lymph node metastasis, and whether there is distant metastasis. If invasive bladder cancer is confined to the bladder, patients can survive for a long time after the lesion is completely removed by hand, patients can survive for 5, 10 or even 20 years; if patients have local metastasis in lymph nodes and infiltrate into surrounding organs, the treatment effect is often poorer and can endanger patients’ lives in serious cases, generally patients’ survival period is 1-3 years.
