HIV refers to AIDS, syphilis and AIDS are not directly related. Treatment: the preferred drugs for syphilis are penicillin and tetracycline; AIDS is mainly treated with anti-retroviral therapy and opportunistic infections. 5. Prognosis: Early syphilis can be cured through standardized treatment; while AIDS has no effective method of complete cure.
