Difference between hyperplasia and tumor

Hyperplasia is an abnormal growth of tissue that is benign and can be categorized as mild atypical hyperplasia, moderate atypical hyperplasia, and severe atypical hyperplasia. When there is too much growth or the hyperplasia lasts for too long, precancerous lesions may appear. If the hyperplasia is actively removed, it will not form malignant tumors, but if it is not removed, it will be transformed into malignant tumors. Tumor is a local mass formed by the organism under various stimulating factors, which can be divided into benign tumor, junctional tumor and malignant tumor, among which benign tumor grows slowly, can be cured after active treatment and has good prognosis, and may be transformed into malignant tumor if it is not actively treated. Junctional tumor is a mass between benign and malignant, and malignant tumor is commonly known as cancer, which can grow rapidly and metastasize, which is life-threatening and needs active treatment.
