How to deal with dental trauma misalignment

Traumatic dislocation generally refers to incomplete dislocation, including partial dislocation and embedded dislocation. In the case of partial dislocation, it is generally routine to reset it to the correct position under local anesthesia, then ligated and fixed for four weeks, with routine radiographs after 6 and 12 months. In case of pulpal necrosis, root canal treatment is performed. In case of embedded dislocation, in this case, if it is a permanent tooth, it is ligated and fixed, and root canal treatment is routinely done after 2 weeks. Because the probability of pulpal necrosis is higher in embedded dislocated teeth, but for young permanent teeth, the root canal is not developed, in this case it will be left to erupt naturally, and in general young permanent teeth can erupt to the correct position in half a year’s time.
