Rosacea is generally referred to as rosacea, and there is no definitive data on how long patients with rosacea can be cured by taking isotretinoin. Generally taking medication for about three months can basically cure, but due to the different degree of the patient’s condition, can not be generalized. Rosacea is a chronic inflammatory skin disease that occurs in the middle of the face and can involve facial blood vessels and sebaceous glands of hair follicles. Patients may experience skin flushing, papules, pustules, dryness, and burning. Isotretinoin is a dermatologic medication that can be used to treat skin conditions such as acne. If a patient with rosacea has a mild condition, the disease is usually cured by taking isotretinoin for about three months. However, if the patient’s symptoms are severe and recurring, the duration of taking isotretinoin is relatively longer, possibly up to six months or more, and it is impossible to generalize. During the period of taking isotretinoin, patients may experience symptoms such as edema, palpitations, dry skin, bleeding gums and muscle pain. People who are allergic to isotretinoin, women with reproductive requirements and breastfeeding, and people with hepatic or renal insufficiency should be prohibited from taking this drug.
