Leukoaraiosis is a type of systemic vasculitis, typically characterized by recurrent oral ulcers, vulvar ulcers, and recurrent iritis. There are mild and severe forms of leukoaraiosis, most of which are relatively mild and usually not life-threatening. There is no complete cure for leukoaraiosis, but with regular treatment, most of the disease will be well controlled, so leukoaraiosis is not a terminal disease. For leukoaraiosis, commonly used drugs include glucocorticoids as well as immunosuppressants. A small percentage of leukoaraiosis, which is more severe, such as the appearance of gastrointestinal tract involvement, and aneurysmal conditions, so leukoaraiosis should be diagnosed early and treated systematically to avoid serious complications. Although the disease cannot be completely cured at present, the condition will be well controlled with regular treatment.
