How long does it take for new skin to return to normal after recovering from a burn

The time it takes for the new skin to return to normal after a burn recovery depends on the severity and size of the burn, there is no exact time, it can be a few days to a few weeks.
Burns are categorized as first degree, light second degree, deep second degree, and third degree for a total of four degrees. Only first and second degree burns heal without scarring. Deep second and third degree are scar healing and will not be discussed in this article.
First-degree burns, for the epidermal part of the burn, proliferation and regeneration ability is active, generally 5 to 7 days can heal without scarring. Superficial second-degree burns, is injured the entire epidermis as well as the papillary layer, due to the hair layer is partially damaged, so the healing time is longer, such as no secondary infection, need to be healed after about two weeks, and does not leave a scar.
