Allergic rhinitis is characterized by clear snot, sneezing, or even coughing and wheezing, but the key point of identification is sweating. A considerable number of patients with allergic rhinitis may not have sweating, but sweating must be present in allergic rhinitis treated with Yuhan Tang. It can also be said that sweating is a necessary symptom of allergic rhinitis with the use of Yuhan Tang. The symptom of sweating is often manifested as spontaneous sweating, but some patients also show night sweating. Some menopausal women with hot sweating, such as runny nose, sneezing, nasal itching, bad wind and cold, white face and shortness of breath, cough or even asthma, white sputum, etc., are also indications for the use of Yu Han Tang. Patients with allergic rhinitis who are suitable for the use of Yu Han Tang do not have a red tongue, not a hot image, but often have a light red tongue or a red tongue with a thin white tongue coating; the pulse is floating and weak, and the sink is weak. Some patients with allergic rhinitis may show the phenomenon of “heat transformation”, i.e. sometimes yellow nasal mucus is seen in clear mucus, but it is not all yellow mucus. In this case, although the patient has signs of heat transformation, but not completely heat transformation.
