What is the painful anal tear?

The first thing to consider is the clinical manifestation of anal fissure. Anal fissures mainly occur when the skin and mucous membrane of the perianal area and the sphincter muscle are burst due to pressure during dry stool or excessive forceful defecation, resulting in the formation of anal fissures, accompanied by a violent tearing sensation, which usually occurs during and after defecation and will be relieved after rest. To treat anal fissure pain, you should first soften the stool, take appropriate oral laxatives, and apply local hemorrhoid cream or anti-inflammatory cream to promote healing of the fissure. In case of recurrent old anal fissures with localized anal pain or blood in the stool, direct surgical treatment with internal sphincter lateralization is recommended.
