The early treatment of soft tissue sarcoma is surgical resection, localized wide or radical resection of the lesion, and postoperative adjuvant radiotherapy to reduce the chance of recurrence.
Soft tissue sarcoma is a malignant tumor, originated from non-epithelial extraosseous tissues, mostly manifested as a painless mass with gradual growth. Early treatment of soft tissue sarcoma can be done by surgical resection of the lesion and radical surgery, with postoperative radiotherapy to kill the residual tumor cells and prevent local recurrence of the lesion. Attention to surgical operation such as non-standard easily lead to tumor residue, need to be operated again.
Soft tissue sarcoma cannot be cured by itself, early detection and active treatment after diagnosis can avoid further development of the disease. During the treatment period, we should establish confidence, strengthen nutrition, prohibit excessive alcohol consumption, and have regular follow-up after surgery.
If there is a painless lump that grows gradually in the body, you should consult a doctor in time and follow the doctor’s instructions after the relevant examination and diagnosis.
