Clopidogrel bisulfate tablets are indicated for the prevention of atherosclerotic thrombotic events in patients with recent myocardial infarction, recent ischemic stroke, confirmed peripheral arterial disease, acute coronary syndrome, and non-ST-segment or ST-segment elevation acute coronary syndrome.
Adverse reactions that can occur in patients using clopidogrel bisulfate tablets include hematoma, nosebleeds, thrombocytopenia and leukopenia, eosinophilia, intracranial hemorrhage, ocular hemorrhage, vertigo, hallucinations, serum sickness, allergic reactions, and abnormal taste.
Note: Clopidogrel bisulfate is contraindicated in patients who are allergic to clopidogrel bisulfate tablets and its components; it is contraindicated in patients with severe hepatic impairment; it is contraindicated in patients with active pathologic hemorrhage, such as peptic ulcer, intracranial hemorrhage; it is contraindicated in pregnant women and lactating mothers; and the use in children has not yet been clarified.
