Cancer cure rate

The cure rate of cancer depends on the stage of cancer, and the treatment effect may be different for different parts of cancer. For example, the cure rate of papillary thyroid cancer is very high, and generally the five-year survival rate can reach more than 95% clinically. Papillary thyroid cancer is the most common type of thyroid cancer, and long-term survival can be achieved through radical surgery and postoperative treatment with iodine 131. Some early-stage carcinoma in situ also has a high cure rate, such as breast carcinoma in situ and esophageal carcinoma in situ, which can be cured clinically without adjuvant radiotherapy or other treatment after surgery and without recurrence for more than five years. If the cancer is found to be in the middle or late stage, the cure rate is not high, so we can only look at it while treating it to minimize the pain and prolong the survival period.
