What is normal for low blood pressure in women

Low blood pressure in adult women is usually normal between 60-89 mmHg. If a blood pressure condition below 60 mmHg occurs, mild low blood pressure has no obvious symptoms and will not cause much harm to the body. Blood pressure that is too low can lead to insufficient blood supply throughout the body, dizziness, fatigue and other symptoms that need to be regulated with medication. A woman’s blood pressure below 60mmHg can be caused by a variety of reasons, such as excessive dieting and weight loss in order to maintain a perfect body shape resulting in nutritional deficiencies, as well as low blood pressure due to heavy menstrual blood flow and severe blood loss during menstruation. In addition to this, sleep, exercise, nutrition and stress can all affect blood pressure fluctuations. If a woman occasionally falls below 60mmHg there is no need to worry, but if she has a prolonged or recurring low blood pressure of less than 60mmHg, she should be considered to have low blood pressure.
