Huanglian Shangqing Pill and Si Miao Pill are not contraindicated and can be taken together.
1. Huanglian Shangqing Pill is composed of Huanglian, Angelica dahurica, gardenia, windbreak, gypsum, rhubarb in wine, thorns and so on. Its function is to clear wind-heat, diarrhea and relieve pain. It is suitable for sore throat, mouth and tongue sores, tooth pain, short and red urine (small amount of urine, dark yellow color), dry and knotty stools caused by wind-heat attacking upward and heat in the lungs and stomach.
The adverse reactions of this product are not clear, and it is forbidden for people with cold spleen and stomach.
2. Si Miao Pill is composed of Semen Coicis, Phellodendron Bark, Rhizoma Atractylodis Macrocephalae, and Hyssop. Its function is to clear heat and relieve dampness. It is suitable for paralytic disease caused by dampness-heat infiltration (dampness and heat evils invading the intestines, bladder, pubic area, lower limbs, etc.), with pain in the tendons and bones, redness and swelling of the feet and knees as the main symptoms. The adverse reactions of this product have not been clarified. Use with caution in pregnant women.
Huanglian Shangqing Pill and Si Miao Pill can be taken together, but you need to consult your physician before combining them and use them under the guidance of your physician.
