How to treat Steele’s disease

The treatment of Still’s disease is based on different treatment options depending on the patient’s symptoms and response to medication. This is because the main symptoms of this disease are fever and joint pain. Initially, non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs, such as naproxen, loxoprofen sodium, and diclofenac sodium, can be used to relieve the symptoms of fever and joint pain. If the patient’s symptoms can be controlled, there is no need to apply other medications. If the condition is not relieved or the symptoms reappear after the reduction of medication, the treatment can be changed to glucocorticoids, such as prednisone, 0.5 mg per kg of body weight. if the application of hormones still cannot control the condition, and fever and joint pain are still obvious, immunosuppressive drugs, such as methotrexate, can be added, usually 7.5-15 mg once a week by mouth.
