Is it serious that there is a loud rumbling in the left lung?

Left lung rales are serious and should be taken seriously and treated in the hospital. Left lung rales indicate pathological changes in the left side of the lung tissue, and are commonly associated with lung infections.
1. Dry rales: indicate narrowing or partial obstruction of the trachea, bronchus or small bronchial tubes, which can be caused by phlegm plugs, bronchial asthma, inflammation-induced mucosal edema or increased secretion, and so on.
2. Wet rumbling: the sound produced by the rupture of gas bubbles formed by abnormal secretions in the airways during inspiration. When a lung infection causes exudation, solidification, or cavitation in the lung tissue, resulting in an increase in abnormal secretions in the airways, the lungs will show wet rales on auscultation.
The location of dry and wet rales is usually indicative of the location of the lung lesion. If there are any rales, it is important to go to a specialist clinic to determine the cause of the disease and to cooperate with the treatment.
