The dangers of frequent abortions

Frequent abortions can be particularly harmful, commonly causing uterine perforation during the procedure, infection of the uterine cavity, chronic abdominal pain, and even adhesions to the fallopian tubes, leading to re-pregnancy, ectopic pregnancy, and even secondary infertility. During the abortion procedure, the basal layer of the endometrium may also be damaged, resulting in endometrial adhesions or a thin endometrium after the procedure, which may cause amenorrhea and reduced menstrual flow. Because the endometrium is too thin, it is also easy to have habitual abortion or even embryonic abortion after another pregnancy. Women are advised to avoid frequent abortions and to take appropriate contraceptive measures during intercourse.
